The Sand Subi
What is a Sand Subi? It a certain 2001 Subaru Legacy GT LTD that danced down sand washes and played in the dirt during my recent trip to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Like any proud mama I took a lot of pictures of my pretty car getting dirty!

Eatin' up Font's Wash!
Just because the Sand Subi is pretty doesn't mean she can't play in the dirt with the Jeeps!
Even in fancy shoes (aka Pirelli's) the Sand Subi can handle a rocky road!

How I do the desert & how my dad does the desert
I just had to share how amazing my car did in the sand & rocks - like I said, seriously proud mama. It was hilarious to watch the expressions of the Jeep & other 4WD drivers we passed several miles out in the middle of nowhere. They would wave with very concerned looks on their faces, wondering what two silly girls (me & my mom) were doing out there in a pretty car. At first glance most people don't realize that my car is a Subaru with awesome AWD, totally capable (as long as I mind the clearance). I had a blast with my Sand Subi in the desert!
