Last weekend I met up with a photography group for a visit to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla.  In all of the years I've lived in San Diego I'd never visited the aquarium. Although small, it is really nice!  Great sea-life displays and a view to die for, although I didn't see much of it because of the fog.  Still, I won't complain because I love love love California beach fog!

I had a blast playing with my new toys: the awesome, beautiful Canon 7D  and my Canon 60mm Macro. Here are a few of my photos from the aquarium:

I LOVE jellyfish (behind glass...in the open sea, where I'm swimming, not so much)

The Birch Aquarium is definitely worth a visit to take in the lovely sea-life exhibits and the fantastic view!
